Come make a Siuhh swing with us!

We are very happy to open the doors of our new studio workshop in the heart of Viljandi and welcome you to our first Siuhh swing workshop.

To celebrate this new beginning, we are offering a special introductory price for the course until the end of the year — a lovely opportunity to give yourself, a friend or someone close to you a day of making to look forward to in the new year.

During this one-day workshop, you will finish and weave your own Siuhh swing. The frame is made by us from locally sourced ash and prepared in advance, allowing us to welcome a larger group while keeping the day relaxed and hands-on. You will finish the wooden frame and learn how to weave the seat using paper cord.

The weaving pattern is simple and elegant, and with our guidance you will learn the basic technique while creating a strong and comfortable seat. The metal adjustment hardware and hanging rope are provided by us, so your finished swing will be ready to hang and enjoy.

No previous experience is needed. Come with a curious mind, comfortable clothes and a willingness to make something with your own hands. Spend a day working with natural materials, learning a new skill and enjoying a little time to slow down.
